MOMMY MOMENTS - GRANDPARENTS BONDING

My husband's mom past away more than 10 years ago, I was not able to meet her since I got here only last 3 years ago. They said she is a really nice person. My father in-law is living together with his girlfriend Janet. Janet and dad in-law is very nice towards me and my kids and I'm blessed and thankful for them cause they are really a great help to me. My parents are still in the philippines but we planned to visit them next year. Here are a couple of pictures of my kids with their grandpa and grandma Janet. I prefer to teach my kids to call Janet Granny though my stepsons call her name. I myself call her mama.

EAR PIERCING

My hubby finally agreed to get my daughter an earring. My hubby was worried that it might be too painful for her or her ears might get infected. But after months of convincing him he said yes.. So we went to the mall but when we got there around 8:30 pm they told us that they need at least an hour before closing time and we need to show her immunization card too. Well, we have to go back there tomorrow, terrah got lucky. Actually I feel a little bit relieved cause I myself don't wanna see her in pain. Before we left the Mall I tool a couple of pictures. I'll be posting her pic tomorrow after I get her ear pierce.

OUR WEEKEND

My husband was off during the weekend. He have alternate day offs at work. so he only gets 2 weekends off in every 2 months. Saturday was a warm hot day so we decided to stay home and watch a couple of movies with the kids. Thanks for Red box LOL for a dollar movie.

One of my stepson made me buy gel cause he want to try it on his hair but
becausehe's hair is curly he's hair wont stick up, or maybe also because
we bought a cheap hair gel.

After the party we went to the beach in half moon bay to cool off from
a very hot day but when we got there it was foggy.
It was so cold @the beach but we had a good time.

TWINS or 2 KIDS @different age, which is harder

My hubby asked me about, which is harder having twins or 2 kids of a yr apart. My hubby had twin boys on his 1st married, they are turning 12 this coming June. He told me that it seems twins is easier to take care of than our 2o months old son and 7 months old daughter. He said having twins, they tried to do things at the same time. Like they fed them at the same time and they nap and sleep at the same time. With our first son we used spread a blanket on the carpet and let him stay there a lot, for tummy time till he started crawling and walking but when we had our daughter, we cant just leave her on the carpet, or on the couch cause of our older son. Cause whenever he saw his sister he want to sit or hold her, he is sweet and gentle towards his sister but we worry about him hurting his sister. So we tried to be more careful when he's around. Most of the time during the day, when my older son is napping my daughter is awake, so I dont really have that much time for myself when my hubby is not off from work. So maybe having twins is easier compare to 2 different age at a certain age. My son was spoiled a little during his infant years. He slept with us on our bed till 11 months which he still does from time to time. While our younger daughter slept all through the night on her crib sometimes I ended up taking our son out from his crib and put him beside me when he wakes up at night crying cause I dont want him to wake her sister up too. My kids are handful but I love being SAHM cause I'm having this opportunity to watch them closely @this early age.

Pigeon Point Beach

It's been 2 days , and I cant take my kids out to the park cause it's been raining since yesterday. Yes it's been a cold days but I noticed this morning the temperature warmed up and so I am expecting that this coming week will be a good week to take the kids to the beach. Especially now that I cant take them to mall or any shopping center because of the swine flu. I knew beach is the best place to take the kids since there is not that much people and i dont have to worry about them getting the disease. Last week we took my son and daughter to Pigeon Point Beach with their grandpa. Though Ethan is afraid to go near the water maybe because of the sound of the waves and I did let him feel the water (it's freezing cold he he he). He did had a good time exploring and so as my daughter. Before we went to Pigeon Point my hubby took us to the Hotel by the beach (JW Marriott Hotel). It's a nice European style hotel) Wish to stay there someday. Here are the pics taken:
